KHS Parents' Club

All parents of high school students are members of the KHS Parents’ Club.  Dues are $10 (couple) or $5 (single).  This is the only fundraiser for the entire school year.  Send dues to the KHS Main Office.

 Accomplishments
2009-10

• Shared expenses with PS-8 Parent Club for faculty’s back-to-school luncheon
• Hosted Parents’ Back-to-School Night; donated five $10 Scrip certificates.
• Organized volunteers for concession stand and crowd control for fall and winter sports (cross country, football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, and district events)
• Provided teachers with an evening meal for fall and spring Parent-Teacher Conferences
• Purchased Subway appreciation gift cards for cheerleaders
• Provided juice and donuts for the staff & students at Christmas time
• Provided ten $10 Scrip certificates for faculty’s Christmas party
• Provided ice cream sundaes for students during semester tests
• Donated $100 to Mardi Gras for raffles and prizes
• Purchased gifts (air fresheners) for students & staff for Catholic Schools Week
• Provided juice and donuts for students & staff during Catholic Schools Week
• Hosted High School Orientation for 8^th graders; provided cookies and juice.
• Donated $250 to the Kuemper Ball
• Donated $250 to Kids Against Hunger
• Paid $250 fee for “Dollars for Scholars” Scholarship Program
• Donated $500 to the KHS Library for book purchases
• Donated $100 to Think First!
• Purchased dishes & utensils for the Family & Consumer Science room
• Purchased $3,500 worth of classroom requests (microscopes, shelving, DVD’s, books, camera, and microwave)
• Purchased St. Christopher visor clips for graduating seniors
