A Note from the High School Dean of Students . . .  

The Dean's Office is always buzzing with activity.  I always look forward to the new school year and the return of our energetic students.

As the Dean of Students, I am responsible for a variety of programs and services which are designed to support students in achieving academic and personal success.  Students are expected to follow the Exemplary Conduct Code, as outlined in the Kuemper Student Handbook.  The Dean's Office resolves issues related to code violations and reinforces positive student behavior.  Other duties:

• Track attendance
• Resolve discipline issues
• Coordinate shared-time scheduling (CHS and DMACC)
• Collaborate with administration and faculty to establish Student Handbook policies
• Revise daily schedules for special events at KHS
• Work with community and government agencies with issues relating to discipline and truancy
