Schedule a Tour

Tours are very beneficial for anyone contemplating Kuemper. It gives parents and students a feel for the school environment and candidly shows the school's day-to-day operations. How do students and teachers interact?  How do students conduct themselves in the classroom and hallways?  Tours also are an excellent time for parents to ask various questions, from the curriculum to dress code to what a daily schedule looks like. Tours are now required of all families who wish to attend Kuemper.  Tours need to be scheduled by clicking the button below. Shadow a Student

Prospective students, 1st-12th grade, can see what a typical day at Kuemper is like by shadowing a student for either a half-day or a full day. Students can be paired with a Kuemper student they know or, if they don't know anyone, Kuemper staff can pair them with a student of similar likes and interests. Many students have enjoyed this opportunity and ultimately decided to enroll at Kuemper. Call or email Erin Sundrup at 712-792-3313 or [email protected].

Transportation Note:

Students Within the Carroll Community School District:

Kuemper students can ride the buses provided by Carroll Community School District (CCSD) to and from Kuemper each day.  

• Please Note: Those who utilize KuemperCares and ride CCSD buses, your students cannot ride the bus to KuemperCares or home from KuemperCares. KuemperCares is a daycare setting, and transportation to and from daycare is provided by the parent.

Out-of-district Students:

The Carroll Community School District will not guarantee busing to those who live outside of the district. Kuemper does have two buses that run routes west and north of Carroll.  

Kuemper’s North Route & West Route

Kuemper provides two private bus routes that accommodate students living outside the district. Currently, Kuemper has a north route and a west route.

  • North route stops include Carnavon, Auburn, Lake City, and Glidden.
  • West route stops include Vail, Westside, and Arcadia.
    • Please Note: that these buses do NOT run their routes in the middle of the day and preschoolers and transitional kindergartners must find their own transportation for this time frame. The KuemperCares Wraparound program may be a great option for these students who need transportation in the middle of the day.
