Returning Families

Returning Kuemper families were already asked this spring to re-enroll their children for the 2019-2020 school year. This entailed all families to submit an Annual Health Update for each student and a Parent Signature Sheet by April 1, 2019.  If you did this, your family is already registered for the 2019-2020 school year. However, please read further for important back-to-school information. You may or may not need to complete some items below.

Transfer Families

Transfer families are families that are transferring from a different school into Kuemper. If you are one of these families, please contact Susie Hulst, Director of Enrollment Management. She will ensure you fill out all the correct paperwork and know everything you need to know about being part of the Kuemper family. She will make sure your transition into Kuemper goes as smooth as possible - for the entire family!  712-792-3313 or smhulst@kuemper.org.

Preschool Registration

Because Kuemper participates in the Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program (SVPP) with Carroll Community Public School District (CCSD), all registration is handled by CCSD.

Registration is now open for the 2019-2020 school year. Please visit the CCSD new student registration web page and follow the directions there to register your preschooler.

Tuition Payments

Families that will be paying tuition for the first time (oldest child in kindergarten or optional kindergarten or transferring to Kuemper) will need to set up an online account with Smart Tuition. Families can set up their account at enrollwithsmart.com.

Families not new to paying tuition will have their tuition statements emailed to them at the end of July or early August. You may or may not have already received your statement from Smart Tuition.

Assistance Needed?

If you need assistance with any of the items listed above, you are welcome to visit with staff on Wednesday, July 31 from 12:00pm-2:00pm and 4:00pm-6:30pm in the KHS cafeteria. Staff is also available during normal business hours, which are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday starting August 1st. Lunch or tuition payments can be made at any of these times as well. Kuemper’s Uniform Exchange Closet will also be open at this time.

Kuemper’s Uniform Closet

Kuemper has a room at the high school dedicated to the exchange of gently used uniform clothing. We’ve had a great response from families so far and so the room has reached its capacity. We thank everyone for their donations, but at this time, we ask that no other donations be made.

From now on, and throughout the school year, the Uniform Closet will be open at all times during normal business hours. No appointment needed!  Just come in, browse and leave with some amazing finds. It’s all free! So don’t hold back. :)

The Uniform Closet is located in Room 170 on the first floor of the high school. Any secretary or staff available can show you to the room if you do not know where it is.

Choose Two  - Do Good, Feel Good

Kuemper believes that when parents get involved, it drastically enhances their student's educational experience. When parents volunteer at the school, they get to know other students, parents, and staff, ultimately strengthening their entire family's connection with the school community. Be a part of the Kuemper Family!

Please consider these volunteer opportunities and choose two areas that you are interested in volunteering. Many hands make light work. You will be contacted when an opportunity in that area arises.
